Whilst stumbling about for other things entirely I happened upon this website and thought I would share it with you all;

There’s some cars and trucks in here that I’m sure most people would die for, just scattered about and left to die on their own, in field or yards or other such.  As well as just some peculiar spots.  It’s not uncommon to see pictures of such things from the UK or the US but seeing them in and from Japan is not something that is witnessed with anywhere near the same regularity.

I think a lot of people are still suffering under they myth that seemed prevalent several years ago that attempted to claim Japan had no classic or older cars around, they all got scrapped straight away or sent away to another country.  The reality of course it that they’re little different than any western country in that regard.  There’s a classic scene, there’s still plenty of old cars about and it’s only in recent years with the increased coverage of Japanese Classic events such as NHOA that people are beginning to realise just how much there is to see in Japan.
