As mentioned in the preview at the tail-end of last week. This event was held over the Gisborne region during the last several days. From what I have seen from photographs it proved to be an event worthy of attending if classics are your thing and they are most certainly mine so it will be another added to the list.

Take particular note of the big red Packard in the middle of the last shot, we’ll do a a bit of a feature on this car later in the week, with a few pennies spent and a lot of care and attention it is most certainly a car that catches the eye.

That cortina does not suit those wires at all.
Wires are a staple diet for British Steel painted in BRG. Although I’m not a huge fan of wires, it doesn’t look all bad, it’s just not the usual Cortina on Steels or Minilites fodder. Which is probably a good thing, nothing like some variation, even if it’s only to further your own reasoning for choice.
I’m not normally a fan of wires on anything post 1950ish, but for some reason I think that Cortina seems to suit them, as KY said its a change from the norm lol
Oh and the Cortina in question is a genuine GT
Cortina GT = minilites or similar, wires do not work for that car at all, nice car all the same.

Why have you cars listed that were not Entries in this car Rally of which there are several ?
I’m not sure what you mean. This is a car web-site, not the specific rally website so there will often be pictures of cars from car-parks that accompany events as well as the cars in the events themselves.
