Macro Casting

January 5, 2010

Due to atrocious Holiday weather, I’ve not had much of a chance to do much of anything at all to the C110, Max, Prince or the Cedric (not that the Cedric needs anything done). However, with the arrival of the new components for the 110 build I thought I’d play around with my new camera (Olympus E-500) and focus on some of the more important digits and otherwise.

Carburettor Manufacturer

Oh mai!

Then there’s the important castings of note on the Leopard block;

L28

F54 Block

N42 Head

And of course the addition of the crankshaft from this;

LD28

As well as another few bits and bobs I’m yet to retrieve, might well call for the use of this;

High-Torque Starter

All going well the combination of these items and the collection and addition to the ensemble of those I’m currently without should take place during this year, either before, after or during the immense amount of bodywork required to be done on the C110.  Also, if anyone has a good condition standard length L-series 5spd for a not-ridiculous price, I’m keen to hear from you.

    you shoulds increase the f-number to increase the DOF and get all of the wordz in focus :)

    (this requires shooting in aperture-priority mode)
