As mentioned in the Blossom Fest. Drags post, I caught up with Josh, owner of this fine beast whilst there. I took a few snaps of his sweet ride which I now present to you for you ogle;

Chances are its fallen asleep due its its mammoth lack of power.

Well loved.

For Sale in the UK.  Man I love these cars, even the sedan has a cool look to it.  Not particularly common in the UK and the same level of rarity here in NZ, they’re magic IMO.  I remember finding out about a 6cylinder Coupe variant.  The ideal competitor to the C110 Hardtop.  Someone find/get one.  In the mean-time.  Scope this one out;

One of the tidiest looking Datsun 510s (aka Bluebird) I’ve seen in a while.

1970 Datsun 510 (Bluebird). But wait, there's more...

The part I like most is lurking under the bonnet though:

is that... boooooBAAAA powar?!!?

Yup, ’tis 240 pee-esses (USDM) of Honda F20C in that there bay. Now that’s definitely different!

Put a CA in it.

It seems with the expense of other options being quite high, a cheaper and beforehand overlooked option (generally because the FJ, SR, Rotary or equivalent’s potential power) is the CA18DE(T) . If you’re looking for bang for buck though, the CA is a fantastic option and has been used more and more in recent times. Many times that I’ve come across conversions recently, it’s been the candidate chosen for small Fords, with the lack lustre Pinto 2.0 SOHC conversion being avoided in favour of the Nissan 1.8 DOHC option.

It’s about time really. To prove how good an idea it is, I provide you with these few but fine examples;
