Cool to see some people talking about the car. I was just having a beer looking for debonair stuff and ran across this blog. I basically crapped myself when a datsun friend linked me to the auction. Then I missread it and thought it ha d2 days left when it was 2 hours left. Auctioned ended a few hours later and my friend text'd me and wa slike wtf how come you didnt bid on it like you said you would. I instantly send the guy a few messages on ebay asking about it and letting him know I was a big mitsubishi nut. Paul got back to me the next day mainly because I was a mitsubishi guy, and said it's mine if I want it since I was the only mitsu guy that had messaged him. I went and picked it up the da after, 10 hour round trip. It's nice seeing all the back story of the car. I will be talking to the daughter of the old buidnessman who originally imported it when they moved back tot eh states. She use to ride in it back when they were still in japan.

Anyhow, car is gonna get a completel and proper restoration, with maybe some minor upgrades like front disk brakes. SHe should be going to the media blaster for walnut blasting in the next month or so.
