Nah, no more blue. The previous owner resprayed it a far brighter metallic blue than factory anyway so I'm not losing any heritage by changing. Not going to release colour and external aesthetic to the masses until it's done.

Good news. Body work just gets in the way. Spray a heap of primer down the sills etc so you don't have to worry about them rusting through later on.
Are you keeping it factory blue?

You can imagine my joy then, I couldn't fabricate anything to save my life! :D The bottom of the left fender needs some reconstructive work too but all in all, I was most definitely relieved. Once I had finally got the damn things off of course. 1 stubborn screw, 2 snapped 10mm bolts, 1 random imperial bolt in there for typical previous owner measure and them being tarred? into place, took some wiggling etc. The front valance is in pretty good nick also, just needs to be taken back and sprayed. Stoked.

That'd make me happy too. That's got to be one of my least favourite areas to fabricate. Really time consuming for such a small part, especially as you can't even see it when the cars done.
